Comedian and podcaster Tim Babb returns to join Team Mousetalgia this week to discuss Disneyland's new no-parking-on-Main-Street rule, and general queuing etiquette. When is it okay to save places in lines for parades and attractions? As the parks get more crowded, are there unspoken rules that guests should follow? We weigh the pros and cons of hopping in and out of lines. Plus, we stay on top of recent listener email, with topics including making magic for others in the parks (pin-giving vs. pin-trading); attending Disneyland during Grad Nite - is it a potential pitfall, or just another day?; and helping a Walt Disney World pro make the most of an early summer trip to Disneyland. Next, we offer the top three attractions we'd each like to see receive a holiday overlay (a Halloween grand circle ghost train tour, anyone?) Also, we share our Disney secret tips, including methods for travelers with children to get to Disneyland from the airport without a child's car seat; Walt Disney's own chili recipe; and tips for finding hotels near the Disneyland Resort.

Then, we take another look at the D23 Disney Fan Club, and host an unboxing of the 2017 Gold Membership gift - plus we offer you the rare opportunity to win one for yourself! This week, the Team Mousetalgia doctor is in to dispense a little therapy related to Disney's latest crop of live action films. For various reasons, we haven't been hitting every film on opening weekend lately and we ask why. Kristen skipped Jungle Book, Jeff skipped Alice (along with most everyone else), and Becky skipped Zootopia, so we check in with each other to find out what we look for in Disney releases to give us the incentive to get to the theater. Then, Jeff reviews the forthcoming book "Disney Parks Presents The Haunted Mansion," a gorgeous art book masquerading as a children's read-along. Plus - AP holders can get popcorn and drink refills for a buck for a limited time, and Becky breaks down the costs and we weigh in with our concerns. Is it really a valuable addition to the passholder experience? We'll report and you can decide. Don't forget to grab a t-shirt (just a few days left!) at mousetalgia.com/tshirt , and you can now join Mousetalgia Plus for EVEN MORE MOUSETALGIA! Are diamonds anyone's best friend? Disneyland launches its spectacular Diamond anniversary with a 24-hour party at the parks which was by turns fun, chaotic, thilling and frustrating to the tens of thousands of guests who descended on the Anaheim resort on May 22. Team Mousetalgia welcomes Beci Mahnken, owner of Mouse Fan Travel, to the show to report on her experiences at the media preview, the 24 hour party, and the grand opening of Disneyland's new 60th anniversary nighttime spectaculars, including World of Color - Celebrate!, the Paint the Night parade, and Disneyland Forever, the new fireworks show that combines projections, fireworks, and special effects throughout the park to create a show that can be viewed from multiple locations (...or can it?) We also debate Disneyland's wisdom in creating predictable mass confusion with an event guaranteed to draw more people to the resort than the parks could contain. Is the result clever marketing, a tarnished reputation - or both? Also, we revisit Tomorrowland and wonder what the financial misfire of Brad Bird's latest film means for the future of Plus Ultra and the Optimists. Will the film find its audience - if there's an audience to be found? Plus - practical tips for visiting the park this summer, Harold's back (and he's ticked!) - and more!
