Jeff visit's Knott's annual "Halloween Haunt" in this fearfully fiendish episode of Mousetalgia! As the spooking season gets under way, we compare Knott's venerable "Haunt" with Disneyland's "Mickey's Halloween Party" to compare and contrast the two extraordinarily popular seasonal events. While Knott's features scares, mazes, and entertainment for mature audiences (Elvira is back!), Disneyland focuses on characters, atmosphere, and candy, candy - and more candy. Is either attraction better or worse? Do the audiences overlap? You be the judge as we look at the features of both events. Also, ABC's fall lineup is garnering praise as well as jeers - Kristen shares a few thoughts about some of the new shows. Plus, a listener reviews a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland - and more! *Special note: There are a few moments in the show that include descriptions of some aspects of the Knott's event that might be offensive to sensitive or younger listeners.
